We Manage Web is a specialist website management agency, supporting ambitious brands with WordPress, Shopify, and WooCommerce solutions. We’re passionate about building strong client relationships and delivering real results across SEO, digital marketing, and ongoing website improvement. As our client base grows, we’re looking for an experienced SEO Manager to enhance our SEO offering and play a key part in our next stage of growth.
We’re searching for a talented SEO Manager to join our team on an employed, part-time basis (18 hours per week), with a genuine opportunity to transition to a full-time position after 6 months. You’ll work closely with the agency directors to drive off-site SEO strategy and results, while enjoying the flexibility of remote working and a supportive, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement off-site SEO strategies focused on quality link building, outreach, and digital PR
Take ownership of SEO deliverables for a portfolio of clients, reporting on progress and results
Conduct competitor analysis and backlink audits to identify new opportunities
Collaborate with the wider team on technical and on-page SEO, with initial focus on off-site activities
Monitor search performance, track KPIs, and communicate insights clearly
Stay up-to-date with SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices
At least 3 years’ experience in a dedicated SEO role (agency experience preferred)
Strong track record in off-site SEO, including link building and outreach, with demonstrable results
Able to work independently and manage your own time, while communicating effectively with remote teams
Organised, proactive, and results-driven, with great attention to detail
Confident communicator who provides regular updates and clear reporting
Good working knowledge of industry tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, etc.)
Experience with WordPress and Shopify is a plus
Flexible remote working – regular days/hours agreed, with flexibility for the right candidate
